How much wood would a woodchuck chuck?

Our friends the Witters graciously offered to help us chop wood, and by us I actually mean Brian, and by the Witters I actually mean Cory. Still, Kristin and I served a great purpose as well watching the kids and keeping them out of the saw dust, sap, and dirt. Plus, we packed a mean lunch! It was so much fun... HARD work for the boys, but fun for us. We also did our part by making a delicious dinner when we got home.
Ekco was wonderful with the kids. She made treasure maps and they went on treasure hunts for a long time. She was great to keep them entertained and happy.
We did have to go on one scouting mission when they went a little too far, but on the whole they were on their best behaviour. There is something about being out in the mountains that brings out the best in everybody.
We ate lunch and the boys took a short break.
Then Xiana and Mitchell jumped...
and jumped...
and jumped...
and jumped some more. They play so nicely together. It was so nice of them to join us to get wood. Our winter will be much warmer because of it!!
