Seattle

Xiana and Ekco sing a made up song all the time that says, "In Washington... Seattle is crazy!" That pretty much sums our trip to Seattle. We saw street performers (see the human statue?), Pikes Fish market (never again with a stroller...what was I thinking?!), art work, sculptures, jelly fish, Kolton fell backwards from the weight of his stroller, flowers, fish, people galore, went on a beautiful ferry ride, ate fresh fish and ice cream cones all in a few hours.  It was fun, crazy yes, but we had a good time.  Two of Brian's cousins work on the ferry, so we got a tour of the engine room.  We also fed the pigeons and Kolton commandeered someone's dog which he then proceeded to walk around the ferry.  The view from the dock is breathtaking. Once the sun went down, a whole new level of crazy appeared on the streets. We took that as our cue and headed back to our campgrounds in Cle Elum.

Family Circus

For the actual reunion day, they set it up like a carnival with all kinds of games, prizes, cotton candy, races, booths, pictures, songs, you name it.  It was a great success! Fun was literally had by all.  I can't believe how much time and effort Brian's cousin, Sarah, invested into this. I'm so grateful that we were invited and made our way across multiple states to attend.  It was nonstop laughter, excitement, and beautiful memories cemented in our heads.
