Some days we never leave the art corner.... some days we never leave the clouds.  Coming soon... MONSTER FISH exhibit. We are SO EXCITED!

Farm

Farm sneak peek for October.... Argenta is in goat and sheep heaven and Kolton is in barrel train heaven!!!

Six Flags

I got season passes to Six Flags for the whole family! So far, it's been a solo mission as Brian has not attended with us.  Still, it's been so much fun!!! Argenta fits in well with our family as her own little thrill seeker! She loves the rides and throws fits when I take her off of them.  She said, "ride?!" the whole day! I even managed to sneak in a few coasters thanks to Kate and Tyler keeping my kids! All in all I think this was a fabulous investment!

It was the first day of fright fest, and Kolton was so brave! He made us walk down zombie alley FOUR times and did not hide his eyes or get scared. In fact, he kept jumping out at the monsters and trying to scare them. Xiana, on the other hand, covered her eyes the whole way! Argenta rode the carousal about fifteen times while the bigger kids rode a mini coaster about 25 times.  Argenta picked a new animal each time and when she got on the gorilla, she beat her hands across her chest and said, "ahahahahhhhhh." It was pretty stinking cute. We ended up leaving, exhausted, before it closed getting home about 2 am.  Fun was had by all, and we are already planning our next trip there!

Utah with mom

Mom and Larissa and I went on a girls trip to go see Cami's concert. It was stunning and amazing and I am certain my dad was there with us. It was at this beautiful cathedral in SLC. Everything about it was incredible.  What a treat to be able to hear music of that caliber.  I can see why it is such an outlet for Cami.... she should be incredibly proud of herself. It was wonderful also to see Cambridge and go shopping and visit.  We also had the great fortune of being in Utah the same weekend of Zachary's farewell. He did a wonderful job speaking. He is such a natural and will surely be an amazing missionary in Wisconsin.

The Great Balloons

The great race comes so early... every year... and every year... I'm so happy we woke, we went, the balloons delivered! This is one event that I try not to miss. I've discovered in the past few years the Friday is the BEST! So, this year I convinced a WHOLE BUNCH of friends to take their kids to school late and join me Friday morning. It was magical, as always.  I'm not typically patriotic sentimental, but I swear when the American flag balloon rose alone in the sky, and the National Anthem was sung by a beautiful voice, and they airplanes flew over head, I could not contain my emotion, and I cried. It was beautiful and poignant and worth waking up at 5:00 for!
