Bishopric

Brian's parents came out the following weekend because Brian got called into the bishopric, and his father was able to ordain him a high priest. It was sacred and special to be a part of that.  Brian felt pretty sure that he was going to get the calling, so it wasn't a complete surprise.  We all bore our testimonies in church, and Ekco got to be there too.  We had all the family over for dinner and enjoyed one another. We all got spoiled with more presents and Argenta's favorite part was that grandma and grandpa brought their dog.  She also tried to join Kolton on the floor to sleep... after all, they did get matching pajamas.  What a sweet weekend it was only tainted by my parent's absence.  Still, I know they were there in spirit.  Brian has been perfectly suited to his new calling, although the learning curve has been fairly steep.  I'm so grateful for him and his dedication to the gospel and to us.  I wouldn't want to live this life with anyone else by my side!!
