Our final day of the trip was spent at our beloved Santa Cruz beach. We love it there so much and will be sad not to have an excuse to get there again. We got cupcakes at Buttery and then played in the sand and water for the rest of the day. That night, after the kids were in bed, Karla, Nic, and I went to dinner sans kids and it was a delicious nice break. The following morning, we loaded up and headed home. Argenta traveled so well for a toddler without anything to occupy her time. The older kids played on their tablets the whole way. We stopped at In n Out burger where Argenta insisted she liked burgers. I got her one with everything on it. She ate every last bite. Actually, they all did. Kolton didn't think he liked burgers so we got it plain and then he asked for a second. It was pretty cute. Xiana, ever the cheeseburger lover, was in heaven.
