Easter

Little miss discovered tootsie rolls this Easter.  She also learned how to shake an egg to make sure there was candy in it, and then pry it open with her chubby little fingers.  I'd say that was a successful holiday!  This Easter was general conference which meant we could watch it at our leisure.  We had our traditional hunt with Ella and Rowan and Kylee, then let the kids gorge themselves on all things sugar, then went to mom's to watch the best conference ever! It was such a special treat to hear from our prophet and apostles on Easter day.  The messages were sacred and special!  Mom made a delicious dinner, and fun was had by all.  It's remarkable to me how much easier each holiday without my dad is.  They will forever be bittersweet, there's no getting around it.  But each year, the celebration is a little more festive, and our hearts are a little more healed.  Time does ease the pain!  Happy very belated Easter!
