Tahoe

Cami came up for a quick trip, and we couldn't skip on on the greatest place on earth.  My kids are really starting to be comfortable in the water, and Xiana is swimming!!

Tahoe is my soothing balm. I have never once in all my life left Tahoe without feeling better than I did when I arrived.  It is my happy place.  It always will be.

mom's bday

Happy birthday to my mom.  We had a lovely day. Sometimes I wish I could just scoop her in my pocket and protect her heart from the loneliness she feels.  It turns out that's Christ's job.  I sure love her though.  I've come to understand her more in the last year without dad than ever before.  I'm more grateful for her than ever!
