Talent show/ Egg drop (the life of a 1st grader)

Xiana and her two close friends got accepted into their school variety show.  Xiana and Kinlee sang "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" while Emma, in her chicken suit, played it on the piano.  It was darling!!! They were so cute dressed as farmers and holding various stuffed animals!  Argenta tried to make it through, but she tired quickly.

The first grade also has an egg drop project.  Xiana was eagerly awaiting it and then spiked a fever the day before and wasn't allowed back to school for 72 hours. She was devastated. So I did what all good moms do and let her make her egg and then snuck her in the side gates when it was time to drop the eggs.  Hers did not survive, but we learned a lot for when it's Kolton's turn!

Parks

We are learning and growing and climbing and sliding!

Life

Some of our normal routines include: going to church on Sundays.... Daddy has meetings before church, so mommy gets to get the household ready and bring them herself.
We visit with friends... they were thrilled to get in the hot tub.... and I was thrilled at Xiana's suit I found at Walmart for $2!!!
Kolton tries to be a big boy like daddy and shave, and wear cologne deodorant.
We play in the backyard A LOT! Sometimes the big kids leave Argenta inside, so she yells at them while banging on the sliding glass door... it does not impress her much!
Daddy built an awesome playhouse while we were away, and so a great deal of time is spent in the land of make believe.  I need to get a picture of the finalized product.

Battle Mountain

We went for a visit to Battle mountain where the kids played with cousins around the clock.  We fed the ducks, went to the park, went to Haylee's birthday party, went to church, and hung out.  We love having so much family so nearby!  We even got to have a slumber party which is a rare treat for our kids.  And we discovered Argenta's favorite food.... spaghetti!!
