These kids spend a lot of time one-skating-around the house. What hooligans!! Gosh they're precious!

Carrots!
Natalie kindly let us pick carrots for play group one afternoon. Many of the kids were feeding bread to the ducks, but Kolton broke away exclaiming, "feed bach bach's!" He loves the chickens, though I'm noticing he is much more hesitant than he was last year which is comforting considering his general gusto for all things dangerous. He and Ellie Jane disappeared together a few times, it's what they do. The kids were eager to get in the dirt, and Kolton just dug in without washing the veggies or anything. Xiana filled an entire bag with ease (though as it turns out, it might have been a good idea to supervise a bit... we ended up with some teenie tiny carrots). Still, it was very generous, as usual. We ate carrots with every meal for weeks. Plus, the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves, feeding the farm yard animals, playing in the dirt, and (one little boy) catching bees. Life sure is eventful when you're 2.
Our Days...
We went to "Musical Malarky," a play that Ali was in for the singles wards. It was hilarious and fun! Best of all, my friend willingly watched Kolton so we did not have to bring him! She kindly took him to the farm to pick carrots. During intermission she sent me a text with this picture: "I guess he decided he wanted to be a true farmer:)"
Poor Kolton gets dressed up as a girl all the time. The other day, another friend of mine took both kids (which I assure you at this stage is a true act of love). She sent me a text saying, "look what the girls are doing to your little boy." Pretty darling! The funny thing is he likes to dress up. If he can't find his captain America costume, he's just as happy to bring me a tutu.
Xiana has a plethora of books memorized. It's wonderful! She can "read" to him for me. He loves it. I love it. Our days are pretty awesome.... well, most of the time :)
Xiana made her own little hot air balloon at school. I'm so glad she's had the opportunity to be in this program!

Valentines....
Valentine's was ridiculously tasty and fun as usual. We went to multiple parties, got valentines for each other and the kids, and Xiana painstakingly signed her name and Kolton's on 50 Valentines! What great practice.
Natalie set up a little photo booth that was adorable I wish Kolton would have been a tad bit more cooperative. But still, it was a blast!
I'm fairly certain my kids ate nothing but sugar from the time they opened their eyes until calling it a day. It was interesting.

Let's go fly an airplane
Or at least watch as it crashes. Brian's new hobbies are remote control cars and airplanes... so far I think he's seen more success with his cars. But this doesn't seem to dissuade him from continuing his pilot endeavors. He has crashed this plane a lot of times. Still, he fixes it and gets right back on the saddle. Kolton is thrilled!
