Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Battle Mountain this year.  Almost all of Brian's family came, and we had a wonderful time!  We hung out, ate, DIDN'T GET SICK!, and played games.  Argenta got into things having learned to crawl a few weeks earlier.  And it wouldn't be an Andersen get together without lots and lots of guns.  We had a fun, albeit cold, venture out as a family to shoot... I dusted off my shotgun and even hit a couple of clay birds.  Tim and Brittany kindly let us stay at their house where the kids slept reasonably well.  Argenta was up the first night, but after breaking through her third tooth, she felt much better.  One of the nights, grandma had all the grandkids over for a slumber party (a tradition grandpa says will not continue).  The kids scarcely slept, but the had a lot of fun... months later they still talk about it.  We ate scones, incorporated everybody's favorite Thanksgiving dishes, and enjoyed one another's company.  We watched a lot of movies, and stayed up too late which typically means an out and out success!
