Gold Lake

We went on a much anticipated, much needed vacation to Gold Lake. We had never been there before (thank you Witters!) and it was excellent.  Our campsite was literally directly on the water.  Although the boys didn't catch any fish, they had fun trying! We had smores of ever form, including with peanut butter cups (yum!), wore the kids out daily, and visited nightly.   We hiked to a beautiful falls that made me, of course, think of my waterfall hunting dad.  We swam, we relaxed, we ate like royalty, we enjoyed stellar company, and overall had a wonderful time.  Even ending the trip with the stomach flu couldn't detract from how much overdue fun we had!
