July was filled with lots of gardening (on Brian's part... with a little help from the kids). I forgot to take a picture after it turned into a jungle, but you get the point. We also spent some evenings at the park which were lovely. Kolton was incredibly proud to have mastered the monkey bars (although decidedly less so when he developed a pretty massive blister on his palm). Xiana, though my most prone to carsickness, can spin on the tire swing endlessly. Things didn't work out so well for Kolton as he threw up from motion sickness after spinning for too long. Thankfully, there was no carryover to six flags. Carter did Argent's hair like Cindy Lou Who one night when Jamee was babysitting for me. Then, I did the fun net hairdo on her for church one Sunday. Every time we go to Helen and Al's house, Argenta makes her way to Zeeva's bowl of water and plays in it like it's her own private swimming pool. All in all, July has been kind to us, relishing the warm evenings and sunny days.
We let the kids watch Pirates of the Caribbean, after they handled the entire Star Wars series so well... we might be a tad irresponsible.
