We didn't make it to Tahoe as often in July as other months because we were gone almost the entire month. Still, we managed, throughout the summer, to get up there 12 times. It's not our best record, but I will certainly take it. I know I say this all the time, but Tahoe is my happy place. I'm so grateful that my children's memories will be peppered with long days spent in the sand and sun and frigid, refreshing water. I was very happy to get to take Ekco at least once this summer... she missed out entirely last year which was heart-breaking for me. :)
