Roller skating with one of my besties!! We are so young at heart!
We woke one morning to snow... lots of it... coming down! We were planning on taking a family drive in the mountains that day, so we got the kids all geared up for snow, filled spray bottles with food coloring and water so they could paint in the snow, and headed for the hills. The snow was sticking big, thick flakes on the ground. We got to the hills... and it was gone. Still, the kids looked pretty darling in their snow gear. They used the spray bottles to paint the tiny bits of snow they found, dirt, and sage brush. We saw a TON of antelope and began training our littlest in the art of optics. Plus, we learned early what snow gear we were missing as last year we never once had an opportunity to bust out snow clothes... because there was never any snow. Here's to hoping for a wetter, colder year.
