Apparently Argenta is my only Sunday picture participant this month. Now that she's walking everything looks different on her little body. Also, she can wear longer dresses without them getting caught up on her crawling knees. Gosh she's darling!

High ballocity round????
Oh gosh.. who knows how many times we've made it to our favorite play place this year? Eric, Heather and their 6 (almost 7) kids came for a quick getaway. What better place to occupy all those kids than high ballocity?!

Chuck E Cheese
I have a love hate relationship with Chuck E Cheese. I love how much my kids love it; I love how diverse the games are for a variety of ages; I love that there is almost nothing there that they can't do by themselves; I love the songs and stage production. I hate the germs; I hate the food; and I hate how expensive it is! As such, we go approximately once a year. This year, we went twice... in one week. Go figure. The kids were pretty much in heaven, and Argenta is a quick learner. Kolton found a zombie killing game that he planted himself in front of for about 3 hours. He got so good at it that one token would last 10 minutes!! Ekco and Xiana spent their tokens trying to win as many coupons as possible. I'm grateful the little ones don't understand the connection yet. Xiana also played every picture making game there!

Easter
Little miss discovered tootsie rolls this Easter. She also learned how to shake an egg to make sure there was candy in it, and then pry it open with her chubby little fingers. I'd say that was a successful holiday! This Easter was general conference which meant we could watch it at our leisure. We had our traditional hunt with Ella and Rowan and Kylee, then let the kids gorge themselves on all things sugar, then went to mom's to watch the best conference ever! It was such a special treat to hear from our prophet and apostles on Easter day. The messages were sacred and special! Mom made a delicious dinner, and fun was had by all. It's remarkable to me how much easier each holiday without my dad is. They will forever be bittersweet, there's no getting around it. But each year, the celebration is a little more festive, and our hearts are a little more healed. Time does ease the pain! Happy very belated Easter!
