Battle Mountain

We went for a visit to Battle mountain where the kids played with cousins around the clock.  We fed the ducks, went to the park, went to Haylee's birthday party, went to church, and hung out.  We love having so much family so nearby!  We even got to have a slumber party which is a rare treat for our kids.  And we discovered Argenta's favorite food.... spaghetti!!

Pink baby

My little pink baby is irresistible! Every member of this family is completely smitten with her.  At 10 months she is walking, says, "hi, by, dada, mama, baba" and loves to sing.  Kolton is incredibly sweet with her; they have a bond of protectiveness that is absolutely darling.  She looks to Xiana as an example already which is so sweet to witness.  And when Ekco is here, Argenta goes straight for her.  She is an incredible addition to our family with her sweet disposition and big spirit.

School

Little miss got to do the pledge of allegiance over the intercom one morning.  This year, for their hundredth day of school, they had a 100 yr. old party where they had breakfast and they all dressed up like old people... it was hysterical!
Xiana has loved and thrived in the first grade.  She's already learned about social responsibilities, being kind, being inclusive. She's also learned about some grown up things like gender identity, racism, and respect.  She is such a joy! She's kind, helpful, smart, and fun.  I'm not sure where I'd be without this sweet child who is swiftly becoming a young woman.

Friends

I am so blessed to have countless, lifelong friends!  I am so grateful for friends from all walks of life, from all times in my life, and with such varying personalities and perspectives.  Likewise, I'm incredibly grateful that my children have such wonderful friends. The icing on the cake is that I love their mommies too! Good friends are one of God's greatest blessings!
