Some Fun!

I decided the kids and I better have some fun before this baby came and spoiled their little adventures :) Just kidding.. kind of.  I know that new babies bring a much slower paced life, so it was wonderful that we had a few days of sheer fun prior to the baby joining our family.  Despite being a cool 70, the kids didn't bat an eye at getting in the frigid Truckee river.  I took that to mean that I am raising them right!

Wedding!!!

They had a lovely outdoor ceremony followed by a reception at the golf course.  They were very laid back about everything which left a nice easy feeling.  Everyone looked great, and Kolton even got a tiny nap in the shade.  At one point, he got so comfortable that he dropped his drawers right on the grass and peed.  Every camera in the place diverted to him... I think I was the only person who missed the shot! We are very happy that the wedding went off without a hitch.  We love uncle Tim, aunt Brittany, Audrey, and the soon to be baby boy!

Shower and Rehearsal Dinner

Brittany and Tim finally got hitched!!  It was a lot of fun. It was very touch and go there for a while to see if I was going to be able to go. My blood pressure spiked eventually to the point that my ob put me on medication.  It was right in the nick of time because it enabled me to pass my bp test at the next appointment.  I didn't actually tell my ob I was going out of town, but what she doesn't know can't hurt her.  We threw Brittany an impromptu shower which was lovely.  Then, Brian's parents hosted a delicious rehearsal dinner where the kids played and played at the park.  It was a lot of fun, and I'm sure that everyone in attendance enjoyed themselves.
