Xiana got to participate in the pinewood derby this year.  Her car wasn't the fastest... but it was the most bling.  Also, it was a fun experience for her and Brian.

Grandpa's Birthday

Another birthday celebration for my dad without him here.  Time is a soothing balm, but I still miss that man terribly.  Kolton has been telling me frequently that he misses his grandpa. I'm not sure he remembers him, but he lives on in our stories. The other day we were going for a walk and Kolton said, "I know that your dad is always with us even when we can't see him cause he's in our hearts.  And I want to be like him because you told me he's the nicest man you've ever known." Indeed little man, he is! And I'm grateful that such big faith can come from such a little guy.  I'm sure that my dad is near often and that he influences our lives in many ways. Still, what I wouldn't give to talk to him again.

We have gone on some fabulous rides as a family. We finally had a wet year which meant more wild flowers in our desert hills than I can remember seeing.  So Blessed!!

Babies!!!!!

We spent seven hours at the Andelin's baby animal days. We are die hard like that.  We LOVE it there. I know it sounds silly, but when we were still deciding if Kolton would start school this year or not, one thing I thought of was that he wouldn't get another year at the pumpkin patch. What a blessing they are to our community and family.
